I hope I make it into the voting round!! :p  This video was pretty fun to make.  It took us about 40 minutes to film and forever to edit because I'm such a noobie at editing.  Have fun watching and I'll let you know if I make it into the voting round!!

Favorite Character Contest

This is going to be my first contest!! I have no idea what the turn out will be...but hoprefully really well so that I will be motivated to host more :]

The contest theme: Recreate your favorite character from a book.

It's not as hard as it sounds!! It can be something as simple as Little Red Riding Hood. I'm a huge bookworm and love to read. I want to see what you come up with your imagination and how your mind recreates your favorite character. Whether that be your own interpretation of Bella from Twilight, or maybe if you want to take a challenge and recreate Edward ;] You choose! Make it good!!

Rules:

1. Must be a follower.

2. I need face shots!!

3. Entries must be e-mailed to me by July 19th, Sunday at MIDNIGHT, PACIFIC TIME!

4. There will be TWO winners...a grand prize and a runner up. I WILL CHOOSE along with friends. I don't want no drama with that poll thing.

5. Dressing up is not a must, but an extra, and an explanation of why that character is your favorite is not required, but again, an extra :]

6. Open to 18+ and International buddies are welcome.

7. Take a picture of what you used to create your character.

*If any rules are not followed, then I have the full right to disqualify you.

I will post a mock example soon. But let your creativity juices flow!! Prizes will be announced a little later on :]

eki's cosplay entry!!

This is my entry for eki's [click here!] cosplay contest!!  I don't even know what character I was trying to be...at first I wanted to be Misa Amane from Deathnote...rarr but I don't know what happened...I just wanted to wear my shirt with the hooded ears :p

I mixed the lip glosses since Sweet Heart came out too frosty...I don't like the color much...so I pinked it out more with Candy Shop which is a really cute pink!  If you have any other questions on what I used, please feel free to ask!! :]

So Ms. J Rose [click here] had a contest to honor her blog's anniversary where she did a random drawing for different levels of prizes and I won one of the packages!! I won the MAC brush cleaner and the Total Immersion Brush Cleaner. I was really excited because I went to the Sally's near me when I heard about this Brush Cleaner and the girls there were clueless...so now I have one!! Yay!! Thank you so much!!! abby's contest

I decided to enter abby's contest. It's a Sunday night and I should totally be studying for a midterm I have on Tuesday but..whatever! I thought I would send an entry in for her Marie Antoinette costume. Wish me luck!

On my face I used:
-Everyday Minerals Pick Me Up Concealer then I packed on ELF's white shadow to give my face the white powdered look.

On my cheeks I used: Maybelline Mineral Power blush in Gentle Pink

On my eyes I used:
- NYX jumbo eye pencil in PURPLE
- Urban Decay Grifter in inner corner
- Urban Decay in Last Call on the rest of the lid to the crease
- MAC Club on the V crease
and MAC Sunday Best as a highlight
-MAC fluidline in Blacktrack
- Lancome noir pencil and set with NYX black shadow on lower waterline
- Maybelline Lashblast in Black

On my lips I used:
- Rosebud Strawberry Salve
- MAC Viva Glam I
- ELF Plumping Glaze in Ruby Kiss

quickie

i have not posted for a while and have been pretty busy...work has given more hours [yes! so i can buy more makeup and buy toys for my doggie ^__^]. anywho! i DID go to the GRAND OPENING of SEPHORA at the Montclair mall. I dragged a girl friend and MY boyfriend along. We just BARELY made it to get gift cards, each that had $10 on them. Hey! Better than nothing! I didn't splurge on anything, because I want to save up and jsut get a huge haul before Christmas for myself. I'm trying to be really good about spending too much at the moment!! My boyfriend gave me his giftcard, so yeahh I have $20 to spend :]

Wo-wo has been keeping me up all night too! She just wants to sleep with me but she's so small and I'm afraid to squish her T_T She stays at my boyfriend's house, because we've figured it's easier to train her at one house. She still poops in infamous places -.-''

ALSO!! I made TOP 15! for yummiebitez contest!! I am so excited!! There are so many other lovely contestants that made it...BUT I REALLY WANT THE PALETTE! haha so of course I'm voting every day and getting the gfs and my bf to voteee duhh!

I'll try to post more. I have a couple of looks I did with the palettes that Aya got me in Japan and they look quite lovely :] toodles for now!

polka dots!

i did this look for alyssa's nail contest. i usually just paint my nails one color, because i do not have the patience, nor steady hand to do all the beautiful things that she does. i did try however, and came up with this cute polka dot look. i used OPI's OPI POR FAVOR color which is a light pink, and Milani's Black Magic for the dots. I just used a tooth pick :p You can see that I messed up a few times in different spots, but i tried. it took me just a little over an hour T_T it was hard for me :[ but i tried :[ i hope you like!
