mini haul

I've heard a lot of good things about the L'Oreal Colour Juice Sticks so I went to the nearest RITE-AID because they are 75% off. I think they might be discontinuing the products...but I was able to grab a couple--Plum Crazy and Strawberry Fields. I also got a L'Oreal HIP lipstick--select items were 75% off. The lipsticks cost something around $2.50 each!

Swatches: Plum Crazy, Strawberry Fields, and HIP lipstick in Vivacious.

They are sheer lipsticks, but they look pretty luscious and shiny without having to apply lip gloss. They remind me of the Dior High Shine lipsticks and the Stila High Shine lipsticks. I'll let you know after I wear them on my lips :]

Rave Reviews has more orange in it than Next Question Please although in the tubes they look quite similar.

I hauled a few Shu Uemura items last week...I've always wanted to try his stuff...!!

I got a "lip laquer"...it's just a really cute light pink balm with glitters.

And here's the blush...it's a very light peach color. Here is doesn't really show up on my hand, but my face is lighter than my hand so it just gives a very slight pink on the cheeks which is very cute!

So cute!

No more hauling for a long time...I'm serious!! I'm such a poor college student...but I AM trying to think of some contest ideas since my blog's birthday is in MAY! YAY!! so watch out for that :]

drugstore haul

alright! so finally my blog is up and running and i wonder if i'll even get people to read this since there are already so many wonderful makeup/beauty gurus out there. it doesnt hurt to try though :] my site looks pretty awesome thanks to my talented, aspiring graphics design boyfriend <3 anyways...heres my haul from the past couple of weeks!! ive been waiting for my blog to get decorated and now that it is...i can get rolling!

i bought the l'oreal de-crease eyeshadow base since i noticed many say that it's a pretty good primer for half the price of the udpp. saving money makes kawaiikao happy!! i was running low on my bareminerals foundation so i ran out and got the maybelline mineral power foundation along with a couple oh blushes. i have to say that after using them for a couple of weeks, i love love love them! i decided to try the nyc eyebrow filler pencil because i was running low on my covergirl ones, and i thought it would be fun to try nyc's correcter stick. the nyc eyebrow pencil is a little more creamier than i like it to be, but it works! i also got a jesse's girl loose eyeshadow [the only bad thing is that there is no sifter and it gets everywhere!].
