FTC: I was contacted by Misikko.com to do this product review in which they sent me the straightener. I am not being compensated and the review hosts my true opinion.

The review:

As you can see, everything was packaged beautifully and securely so there were no damages to the product. Shipping was very fast and efficient. The HANA Titanium 1.5" flat iron heated up very quickly and with-held its hot temperatures allowing me to continuously use the product. Other straighteners I've encountered lose this ability after time and I would have to let the iron sit there to reheat so that it would effectively straighten my hair. With the HANA flat iron, there are four temperature control settings ranging from 230 degrees F all the way to 450 degrees F. The iron caters to very thin, fine, fragile hair, to very thick, healthy hair.

I like how the iron came with a rubber heating mat that protects the surface of my counter. There are many slips and bags that come with the iron for easy traveling as well.

Using this flat iron was easy to use and did not pinch my hair at all. I personally like 1 inch flat irons better, but this one still straightened my hair effectively. My hair even looked shiny and healthy after applying such heat. The handle is sturdy and feels good in the hands. I even used the iron to curl under the edges of my hair as seen in the video.

The site is easy to navigate and the flat iron that I was sent runs about $130 USD. I think it's a great deal considering all the extras they send with the product. Misikko.com has other items on their site as well as a titanium hair dryer.

I like that these lenses don't scream "I have blue eyes and they look fake!" :)
At first, first these lenses were a bit irritating at first, but that's usually the case when you first put in circle lenses from my observation. After a minute or so, they are really comfty and look very cute! I don't need rewetting drops when I wear these lenses, and like always I never wear my circle lenses for more than eight hours. Promise.

This website has kindly contacted me to offer me a free pair of lenses for consideration of review purposes. I am in no way affiliated with the company and I express my honest opinion.

The pair of lenses comes with a free case like many other circle lenses websites. I like that their site has a lot of pictures with models wearing the lenses so that you get a better idea of how they look on. Mini Haul from Big Lots and Forever 21

These items were collected last week and were very inexpensive. If you like drugstore brand products like Revlon and Covergirl, check out your local Big Lots. They carry such brands from previous collections at a discounted price. The Big Lots near my house didn't have such a great selection, so I went to the next city and it was like hitting a jackpot! I got some generic facewipes for removing makeup for $1, Revlon Super Lustrous gloss in 110 Life's A Peach for $2, and Revlon 600 Clear Lipliner for $2.

From Forever 21 I picked up a Blush in Pink for $2.80. This blush is really pigmented and their packaging has improved quite a bit! It reminds me of the Jill Stuart blush packaging!!

I got this nail polish in Grey for $2.80, because it reminded me of MAC's On the Prowl from the Hello Kitty collection. That color is one of my favorite nail polishes to wear and I thought this might be a good dupe. Forever 21's Love & Beauty Grey polish is a couple shades darker, but nonetheless pretty darn close!

I believe they just set these out as you can see, the display is full, except for that one lipstick called Primrose missing...I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it even though its a very pretty dusty pink color. If I do decide to keep it, I'll swatch it and let you know how I like it!

About a month ago I was contacted by CSNstores.com and given the opportunity to review a product from their site. I was given a $45 online gift certificate to shop their website. They offer a variety of items- home decoration, luggage, shoes, office furniture, and more. I shopped their bags and found this one in which you could carry two ways. There is a set of larger handles and smaller handles as you can see from the above pictures. I believe this bag ran no more than $35, my gift card took care of shipping and I received the bag within three days. Kate, the CSNstores.com representative was really helpful and answered questions about items that I was interested in.

I really like the quality of the bag. The material is better than the material used at one of those mainstream fashion stores like Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe. This bag is really trendy especially with the stud detailing. There was another bag that I was interested in, but they were all sold out!! You should definitely check out the site. So I'm sure most of you beauty lovers have heard the rumors that Sephora's F&F Sale is this month...supposedly October 21st/22nd to be exact. So what is everyone planning on getting? I was on Sephora and saw this REALLY cute tokidoki palette.

If you've tried their shadows, do you like them? Let me know?

As for other products...I'm still on the fence over the Urban Decay Book of Shadows vol III since I have vol II and the alice box and the naked palette, all which i love dearly. I probably use these shadows the most.

Maybe I'll get a few Dior lippies since those are always nice, and stock up on the Sephora Lash Plumper Mascara.

These are the shoes I got from www.lovelyshoes.net. I got a pair of thigh-high boots, nude heels with a bow, and some black lace pumps that are absolutely my favorite! This site is definitely worth checking out! They are an overseas China company that offers to sell shoes to ladies like us, and they sell in bulk too! If you buy in bulk, I do believe they give you a discount.

This is the first pair. The name and item #: are Europe and the United States hot sexy popularity jackboot Z-XH666-1 black. These cost about $17.25 in USD. These are a size 37 in China size and I wear a 6.5 in US. These are supposedly converted as a size 7 in US but they fit perfectly as a size 6.5 US.

The name and item # for this pair: T-shaped bowknot middle heel single shoes QZ-QX6-6 rice. These are also a size 37 in China size but fit me like a size 6 US. These are too small, so I gave them to my sister who is about a size 6 US. Inconsistent sizing! These were $9 USD.

These are my favorite pair out of all three. The name and item #: Workplace temperament mature texture pointy thin belt high-heeled pump shoes Z-JXNH-A-26. These also fit true to a size 6 US, not a size 7 US as they converted. These were $11 USD. Very cute!

Japanese Glamorous Lash Review

It has been way too long since I blogged!! I've just been really busy catching up with friends before they go back to college, thus the lack of posting. I wanted to do a review on the Japanese lashes that a bought a while ago. You can click here to see the post of what they look like up close. The lashes look AMAZING on, but comfort-wise, the band is very stiff. They are really easy to apply and remove the glue off of for a second-time use. Here are a couple of pictures with the lashes on.

They look very dramatic! All in all...

The pros: Easy to apply, comes with a cute case, easy to clean off glue after first time wear, looks amazing for a night out.

The cons: Thick band so not so comfortable, lasts about three wears, easily bent if not stored properly.

Haul and Review of R&R products

So I hauled from Hautelook the other week when they have R&R beauty on sale. I heard many good things about the blushes so I picked up Tease and then a gloss in Preppy Punk. I love the packaging!! It's so sleek and gaudy!

The only packaging I was not fond of was the gloss's packaging. The black part on the wand is just a black sticker wrapped around! Eww how cheap! I definitely would not pay the full price of I believe $20. I paid $10 for it [I don't remember because it doesn't even say on the invoice they sent!]. I really like the packaging of the blush though. There's a ton of product in there too!

Swatches. I wore the gloss today and I am VERY disappointed. It is not pigmented like the MAC lipglasses. I have to load on the product and it doesn't even have amazing staying power. It has a strong scent of vanilla like the MAC lipglasses. I really love the blush color, but on my cheeks I think it is too cool toned for me boo! The blush is really smooth though and very pigmented. When I swatched it though, it reminded me a LOT of the Forever 21 blush I got in fuchsia...so I swatched...

OH NO! THEY LOOK SO SIMILAR!! UGHHH! I did not want to pay $20 for a blush color I already had AND the Forever 21 blush was only $4? UGHHH!! SOOO IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO SWAP MY R&R BLUSH FOR A MORE PINK OR CORAL COLOR I WOULD LOVE TO!!

Then I went to Marukai the other day and wanted to get the five pack of lashes that they had on sale for a little less than $7. I got the glamorous lashes.

It even comes with a little case!

I'm really excited to try these!

Recent Shoots

So I did this shoot with one of my friends who wanted to test out his equipment outside at his uncle's house [which was baller status...] and did this last minute shoot. Kept the makeup simple with some false lashes.

Then I recently did this shoot with Andy since he got a new lens, which is loveeee. :] We went to a nice park nearby that had baby duckies; I've shot at this park before but a couple of years back when I had no idea how to model...not that I know how now lol. But I'm a little less shy and don't just stand there and scratch my head thinking of a new pose haha! I kept the makeup simple with this shoot as well. Just winged liner and pink cheeks, along with lots of mascara.

Okay, that's all for now. I have a couple more shoots lined up with other photographers. If one doesn't flake, we're going to do an avant-garde theme, and for once, I don't have to do my own makeup haha! It's nice having others put makeup on you once in a while :] Thanks for looking at my pictures and I hope I didn't make your eyeballs fall out :p

Class 302 and Frames

So this is the look I wore a couple of nights ago before I went out to get shaved snow at Class 302. Shaved snow is basically made with milk instead of ice, giving it that melt in your mouth so smoothly effect haha. I realllllly love my $1.99 Ever Lashes!! I used most of the eye colors from my Urban Decay Book of Shadows II box ^___^

It was so cold outside so we also ordered some wonton soup...it was literally wonton soup with no noodles T__T

Then I bought some glasses...HAHA!! I love them!! They're soooo cute!! I normally wear glasses at school unless I wake up early enough to put in my contacts and do my makeup nice...but I really like the huge frames just for dress up!! Andy was trying to be cool in my black frames :p I likeee them though :D
